fdgsathe thing with 7 and 8 and 10 is by the end of the game when you've done everything though, your characters are no longer individual, they all have max stats and the best skills.In ff7 all you needed were the 3 sets of master materia, in ff8 is was just about stocking up on the best magic and ff10 was just filling in the sphere grid fully which made every character almost identical.in the earlier games like ff6 yes, you can learn alot of the skills but the characters are still very individual, only being able to equip certain weapons, having their own unique battle command each and having very different stats. FF5 was the one with the incredible job system and that's what made it so good to me, you can customize every character how you like but not to the point where they've just learnt everything and all the characters are the same.only certain characters can learn certain skills based on their role in battle
But Yuna is different in FF X-she is the only one who can call aeons.(other characters are almost identical,except they all start at different position on the sphere grid-for example Auron starts at a position that is close to most "strength" spheres,Lulu starts nearby Black Magic spheres)
FF IX-for example-only Zidane can equip dagger-therefore only him can learn the skill which any dagger contains.IIRC.
msgand i think its 5 where you choose your classes but im not sure, i cant be bothered to check.
but you can change your class anytime with any character so anybody can be anything so its pretty much the same as all the others
Yep, in 5 Everyone can master any job class, i loved 5.
6 had the skills on the Summons/Eidoleons
anyone can master any job class in X-2 as well.

In Pal and International versions there is a Expert version of the sphere grid and all the characters start it the middle.
So you choose what path you want each character to take.
I managed to master gunner for yuna until, the end I'm using that

hmmm.... I prefer FFX to FFVII...
.... but Cloud has a giant sword...
... I guess i'll go with Cloud.Zidane is so much better than both of them though and he kicks ass on Dissidia.

Well FFX International is a Japanese Game with an option to make the game into English.
But It was only released in Japan.

No, the PAL version is also the international version.

Well there's a game called FFX International which is only released in Japan.
It has the Dark Aeons and stuff that wasn't in the original Japanese FFX.
