Chickhen Keeps freezing

Ive installed official firmware 5.03 and now i need to get chickhen.
My psp has frozen 4 times now. Why is this? How can i fix it?

Try restoring it to factory default and using the grey colour for the theme.

That helps, but isn't freezing the nature of Chickhen? I never used it, but I've heard of people taking a dozen times or so to get it up and running.

CHickHEN is meant to make the screen flash green, if it shows black or shuts down the psp it failed, it's like starting an old car, it's a pain :(Hence why I'm trying to find other methods of teaching people on how to hack psp's :)

For one, change your cache language to US. thats the key point. also change your background colour to the 2nd shade of green. worked in one try.

Hmmm...ChickHEN works within 1-3 tries for me. But there are some factors involved in making it work like that. No pictures other than the ChickHEN folder in the Picture folder. I store my other pictures in a separate folder, like in Video. And view them with a different homebrew.Then make sure to not have any custom themes on. Just the original. It should work nicely then. This is mostly useful for 3000s because they can only be hacked temporarily.

How do you "fully hack" a PSP? Without a pandora battery?

With hellcat's recovery flasher. (For PSP Phat and PSP 2000- Pre-TA88v3).I tried it once, but I just got tired of trying to get HEN to work so I just the Pandora Method. :P

It can take 1-100+ times.
MHUspeed is a better example but only for 2K/3K
