Cheat turned into a Glitch- is it fixable?

Hi I was running Pokemon Heart Gold on my r4 when one of my favorite working cheats decided to glitch my game by making my screen freeze black when ever I encountered a wild pokemon or a trainer battle. It is called Instant Catch and basically cuts the waiting time between throwing the ball to where you name the pokemon. i am going to try reloading the cheats now to see if that has anything to do with it but if it doesn't work i wish that you viewers would have a ready response for me so I can try to fix this problem right away.If you need anymore details about anything feel free to ask.

Are you using too many cheats? That might affect the game
Are you suppose to be catching pokemon yet?

I might be using too many cheats---- but yes I am allowed to catch pokemon where I am in the game (just caught snorlax in Kanto)
