Captcha

I noticed whilst registering their is no captcha. Might be a veeeeeeeeeeeerrrryyy good idea to add it.

SMF capitcha is very poor quality and doesn't work very well, that is why we don't use it.

It's a custom registration form, thus far we've had no problems, spammers usually go for more generalized sign up forms where they can spam a lot of sites instead of just one.Not really worth bothering with at this point.

I just want to comment that there are some sites whose captcha boxes are very difficult to read because they use dots & stuff to make the code harder to read, that irritates me as I get an extremely hard time to make out what alphanumeric combinations it is I'm seeing. Also, there are some sites whose captcha codes are on a short expiration time, add to what I said earlier my incredibly slow typing skill & you'd get invalid codes due to expiry messages.

I agree. And its hard to sometimes tell whether that's a 9 or a g. Very annoying.

I hate Captcha on Bebo...everytime you put the correct word in...it says "incorrect" :/Please do never add it

There are various degrees of captchas, if we did put one in it'd obviously be very user friendly and superior to every other captcha. :)

I think being captchaless is what contributes to Romulations fame. I hate popups and I hate captchas but captchas are more annoying.

lolwin.Anyway captchas- er, I freaking hate those things. I can never tell if a g is a 9, or the difference between 1 and l (lowercase L) and I (capital I), and half of the other letters. I ALWAYS get it wrong on the first try. They're annoying. Don't do it. ):

You guys seriously have too little faith in us, if we developed a captcha it would be awesome and painless. :)
