Can't think what this game was called.

Hello,I remember playing a game on the PS1 i think it was when i was younger. Has to be like 10 years ago at least.It was a game where you control and ape and hes a cop or hes just been fired from being a cop or something like that.I remember some of the levels has pubs in and you could pick up bar stools and throw them at people.There was also a Zoo level where you had go about the zoo killing people i think.Can't remember much else, Anyone got any ideas what game it was?
