theres two types of british, ethnic and civic. If you come from another country and gain british citizenship and uphold british cultural values then you are civic british, because you hold a british citizenship. It is not possible to become ethnic british because in order to be ethnic british you need to have been born to ethnic british parents. basically if you can trace your family history in britain back several hundred years then you're ethnic british.

bullshit. Without immigrants we wouldn't have 3 million+ unemployed. it is ILLEGAL to hire a white male when a woman or an ethnic applies for the same job. thats just how far this 'diversity' bullshit has gone.
Since when?
all three major parties have exactly the same policies; the same nation wrecking ones that margret thatcher started in the 80s. Labour took them even further than she ever dared to. Remember that the british once had an empire covering most of the world, we didn't need immigrants to run that.
One of the main reasons that the British Empire disintegrated was because of lacking the required number of soldiers and officials to manage and maintain the Empire’s territories (other reasons being lack of funds and various uprisings by oppressed indigenous people). Also, local people were hired (if they were lucky, forced without pay if they weren’t) for various positions (such as police) by the British in the various territories making up the British Empire.
regardless, the BNP have no problem with settled, integrated immigrants. it is only those who shouldn't be here and who refuse to integrate that they want out.
The BNP have a problem with anyone that doesn’t fit in with their primitive ideal of what exactly a British person needs to be.
Up until recently the government denied the existance of a native british race, meaning we were not protected by the UN charter of indigneous peoples, which labour refused to sign. it was only during the court case against the BNP (which set a *VERY* dangerous legal precedent) that the government finally admitted that there is a native british race. Jack straw is quoted as saying 'the english are a race not worth saving', which is extremely offensive to all those people who had relatives die in the world wars to defend our freedom, while his own father was rotting in jail for being a coward and refusing to fight.
I can’t find proof that he said that, and I fail to see what his father refusing to go to war had anything to do with his ability to do his job. Although I also think that he is incredibly incompetent.
The dangerous precedent that was set allows the government to dictate the policies of other parties.
The BNP don’t deserve the dignity that would be afforded to them were they to be recognized as a proper political party, they are a hate group that idiots and desperate people support because they claim to be able to solve Britain’s problems through victimizing minorities. People look at the state of Britain and see no solutions offered to them by the main parties and so turn to that human filth because they see no other answer.
UKIP are a smoke and mirrors party, they are not euro-skeptic as they try to portray. For example, their ex-leader (who stood down to concentrate on parlimentary campaigning) bragged about 'trousering' (his word) over £2 million in expenses from the taxpayers by being in the EU parliament. their other members attend sufficient debates to get paid their attendance allowance and then walk out of the chamber. Recently a bill was passed by just 5 votes because ukip had just walked out after getting their attendance allowance for the day. That bill allows the EU to channel billions more from EU taxpayers (including the british) into one of their black holes. If UKIP had any interest in protecting british interests they would not have walked out, and several other euroskeptic MEPs expressed disgust at their behaviour following the narrow victory.
And they have public condemnation for their brazen thievery, however; their crimes are as nothing when compared to the actual hate-filled policies of the BNP.
They also have no other policies bar ones they stole from the BNP.
Seeing as the only policies that the BNP has that aren’t white supremacist shite are basically the changes that most people have been calling out for and are genuinely needed (more control over immigration, tougher punishments for crimes), I think that it’s a very good thing that other parties are adopting them; that way, we can look forward to a future where “poitical parties” such as the BNP are shoved out of the lime light and wrung of most of their support in favour of less hateful parties that may enact the changes needed for this country to better itself.
As nex said, this is probably going to be a hung parliament, but even so it is the best chance the 'small parties' and independents have had for a long time, and possibly will ever have. Labour and tories have exactly the same policies, polls suggest people don't trust cameron and brown has proven repeatedly he's not to be trusted. If the televised debate is anything to go by the libdems have no policies whatsoever. This is the election of the fringe parties and the independents.
Sadly, I don’t feel as though I can offer any party my full support; all of them have at least a few members/policies/past actions that I dislike or that I despise. For me, it’s just about picking the least rotten apple; which means my first ever vote shall be Conservative :(
accepting british culture and relgion and not ramming their own down everyone's throats. It's fine to be a sikh, hindu or whatever, so long as you accept that this country is primarily christian and the laws reflect that.
Oh yeah, just like the British Empire didn’t ram the Christian religion down people’s throats. The modern laws in this country aren’t based upon the Christian religion at all, nor should they be. I’m “indigenous” to this country and a proud atheist.
demanding that the law be changed to suit your religion/culture is not integration. Similarly, you're allowed to maintain your own culture so long as its not to the detriment of the british culture.
I see the combined cultures that make up modern British culture as completely British, to me that statement makes no sense.

What if you can trace your heritage back to Denmark or Italy or Greece or Scandinavia or any other country? Britain has been settled so many times by invaders from other countries that our bloodline is extremely diverse; the only people whom are truly indigenous are those with a purely Celtic bloodline, and I’m guessing that there are few of those around these days.

LOL Loony, your getting a bit fired up.Im voting BNP,and I come from an Ethnic minority in Britain-a white Scottish guy LOL.Under Labour or Europe, heres 2 x examples why we need drastic changes about Immigration1.An Iraqi asylum seeker kills 2 x doctors in 1990.After his stir hes released and its decided he can stay here as he poses a threat to the people of Iraq if hes sent back.2.The "installed" president of Afghanistan has 2 x sons. One has come over here and "likes it".The brother is getting a bit of "hassle" in the street back home,so he fancies coming over and staying in Liverpool. And come to mention it,what has either Africa or Pakistan got to do with Europe. Its these types of places that an immigration ban should be implemented on.We can get plenty of workers/immigrants from eastern europe.

Like it or not, the BNP ARE a legally constituted political party with democratically elected representatives. Who are you to determine who does and does not deserve the dignity of official recognition? you're talking exactly like labour's rent-a-mob thugs, united and facist. The BNP do not victimise minorities, they recognise that ALL minorities are victims of the current government's disaster, including the british, which the government refuses to acknowledge. They don't blame the immigrants, they blame the current government.

I'm not answering this, you clearly haven't read them.

They arent adopting them, hasn't the last 13 years taught you anything? they lie through their teeth to get the votes and then as soon as they're elected its business as usual. more disasterous spending policies, more borrowing, more national debt and more fraudulent expenses. the ONLY way we're going to have any chance of getting changes in this country is by electing a party that has never been in government before. Because the big 4 are happy the way things are. They don't have to experience the failed education system and failing health service, and they get a lot of money for doing very little.

Thats going to be the case with any political party unless you start your own. and the conservatives are hardly the least rotten apple, they started the who shit, and cant keep a consistent policy for more than 2 weeks. added on to that cameron is a weak leader with a proven track record of lying through his teeth. he's not even popular with his own party.

markswan · #63Oh yeah, just like the British Empire didn’t ram the Christian religion down people’s throats.
what happened in the days of the empire has no bearing on what is happening now.
markswan · #63The modern laws in this country aren’t based upon the Christian religion at all, nor should they be.
Wrong. british law is founded upon morals and the commandments taught in the bible (back when religion actually mattered to the vast majority of the country). Even the small segment of law I studied at university clearly showed that.

So am I, I'm a pagan and can trace my heritage back to the viking invaders. I'm still indigneous british despite my family coming here in longboats to loot and pillage. they settled here and have been here ever since. indigneous doesnt mean tracing your line back to the beginning of time, it means about a century or more.

its failing here because of mismanagement. its being run as a for-profit business and thats not working. there's far too many overpaid middle managers and not enough frontline staff. hospitals are being closed to save money and cleaning is outsourced to contractors (who dont do as good a job as in house cleaners). there is an obsession with targets and waiting lists, rather than standards of care. The theory behind the NHS is sound, its just being micromanaged into oblivion. All chiefs and no indians is how I've recently heard it described.

Loonylion · #65Since Harriet Harman's so-called 'equality bill' got passed. This is what happens when a feminazi gets into a position of power.
I still can't find any confirmation of whites being discriminated against, link please.
Loonylion · #65Like it or not, the BNP ARE a legally constituted political party with democratically elected representatives. Who are you to determine who does and does not deserve the dignity of official recognition? you're talking exactly like labour's rent-a-mob thugs, united and facist.
If by "Labour's rent-a-mob thugs" you mean the members of the British public who stand against the BNP in public to show to outsiders that British people aren't fundamentally racist and the people whom support these lowlives are in the minority; then yes i am exactly like them. And "fascist" is a word more attributable to the BNP than the people whom oppose them. If you have some proof that Labour (or any other party) has paid people to protest against the BNP under the guise of regular citizens; then show it.
Loonylion · #65The BNP do not victimise minorities, they recognise that ALL minorities are victims of the current government's disaster, including the british, which the government refuses to acknowledge. They don't blame the immigrants, they blame the current government.
Their members have been heard to blame our Britain's problems on ethnic minorities many times. They're also against gay and interracial relationships and want to ship descendants of immigrants back home. If i, or anyone else, want to date a girl or a guy of any other race; then i have every right to do so, the idea of a political party dictating the sex/race of any partner i choose to take is disgusting and outrageous. The idea of deporting the descendants of immigrants also repulses me; i have friends whose grandparents came to work in this country, who the fuck are the BNP to decide whether they deserve to live here or not (and their "we're fine with immigrants so long as the contribute to society" is crap; they want white supremacy in Britain with white people ruling over other races like in the colonial days. Their idea of "contributing to society" is doing what they're told by the white man whilst living here and being grateful for it).
Loonylion · #65I'm not answering this, you clearly haven't read them.
I have read them. Some of their policies i strongly agree with (their stance on crime, their plans to purge bureaucracy from our public services, their plans to limit immigration), however; everything they say and every policy that they have is tainted with their filthy racism and backward social attitudes. It seems that they are less willing to make openly racist comments these days, but their party and members have a long history of ignorance and intolerance.
Loonylion · #65They arent adopting them, hasn't the last 13 years taught you anything? they lie through their teeth to get the votes and then as soon as they're elected its business as usual. more disasterous spending policies, more borrowing, more national debt and more fraudulent expenses. the ONLY way we're going to have any chance of getting changes in this country is by electing a party that has never been in government before. All true :(
As msghomemaintenance posted earlier, perhaps support for the BNP would give them the kick they need to realise that some of the BNP's logical policies are making sense to people and change their own to make themselves more desirable.
Loonylion · #65Thats going to be the case with any political party unless you start your own. and the conservatives are hardly the least rotten apple, they started the who shit, and cant keep a consistent policy for more than 2 weeks. added on to that cameron is a weak leader with a proven track record of lying through his teeth. he's not even popular with his own party.
In my opinion, they're the least rotten of the main three at the moment; i actually want to vote for a party that has a realistic chance of getting elected. Cameron is a slimy c**t but he isn't as unpopular with his party as Brown apparently is with Labour, or as incompetent. I can't go with the Liberal Democrats due to their policies being either non-existant or incredibly weak.
Loonylion · #65what happened in the days of the empire has no bearing on what is happening now.
I ditto
Loonylion · #65Wrong. british law is founded upon morals and the commandments taught in the bible (back when religion actually mattered to the vast majority of the country). Even the small segment of law I studied at university clearly showed that.
I was wrong about that, i was thinking about some of the more obscure "rules" that are in some parts of the Bible; although i'm barely familiar with the Bible.
[/quote]So if a century passes from the time a black person comes to Britain; their descendants would be considered indigenous by the BNP?

You are talking out of your arse. the BNP are not against gays, they are against homosexuality being taught in schools. NOT the same thing. They are also against all forms of sex education for primary age kids, which is perfectly reasonable. Their view is whatever you do in your own home is your own business. They do NOT want to ship children of immigrants out of the country, unless they are here illegally. or have committed crimes attracting lengthy prison sentences. Again, perfectly reasonable. Illegals have no right to be here, and why should we keep people who can't follow our laws? Only way to stay in this country if you arent native british is to enter legally. The BNP do want a complete freeze on immigration initially, but that is necessary because of the extent of the country's problems. There's no point in continuing to let people in while our infrastructure is overburdened because it will only make a bad situation worse, as well as making it harder to upgrade the infrastructure. once the infrastructure has been improved and the freeloaders have left (of their own accord because the welfare system is no longer a free-for-all) or got jobs, when our laws are back to common sense and our industries are restarted, then the doors will be opened in a controlled fashion (no more uncontrolled mass immigration), and the people who decide to come here will find the country much better for the temporary freeze.the BNP has the only sane economic policy of the parties, restarting our manufacturing industries, withdrawing from the EU (which costs us £40 million a day in direct costs, and much more in indirect costs by complying with their inane laws and regulations) and regulating the banks to prevent them holding the country to ransom again. Additionally, renationalising the public transport and utility companies will control utility bills and ensure that money goes back into the infrastructure, rather than into the pockets of private shareholders. They would also fire at least 10,000 unnecessary managers from the NHS and replace them with doctors and nurses. Brown has borrowed to the point that our national credit rating has been downgraded; we are now on our own because no-one will lend us any money. Although with brown at the helm, who can blame them?

force the government to make these changes, seriously people if BNP start getting a big vote count then someone else will take their poicies that we want(that only BNP have the balls to say because of all this correctness shit) and use them without all the racism etc etcimmigration laws have to change which will go a long way to solving other problems such as unemployment which will free up money that is needed for other things. The crime has to be dealt with, i mostly think BNP has nailed this one.BNP wont get in power but the only way these changes will happen is if we make it known we want them and force them to listen by voting for those policies
if you just vote for the big 3 then nothing will change because their not been forced to

thos are links to government controlled media organisations. Of course they're going to spout the government line that the BNP are evil nazis and racists and any other negative stereotype they can think of. The BNP DO sack members who commit criminal offenses, unlike labour/tories, who not only delight in having rapists and violent robbers in their ranks, but paedophiles as well.Charges were recently dropped against a BNP man who was charged with violent disorder. What actually happened was a BNP party consisting of mainly women and children came under attack by the UAF and as one of the only two males in the party the man in question felt the threat of danger to the women and kids was real enough that he had to defend them. As usual the UAF were let off without charge. He was dragged through the courts, had his life and livelihood ruined and then the case was dropped quietly.

You ignored a key phrase. '"Offer generous grants to those of foreign descent resident here who wish to leave permanently". This isnt giving them money to leave. THEY decided they WANT to leave. BNP gives them money to start out somewhere else to help them. if they dont want to leave then they don't have to. its entirely their choice.

these are the reasons people think their racist because they put out crap like that.

I think I understand why people have such a negative view of the BNP. Although it seems that there are a lot of sound policies behind the BNP, it is also the party under which the ignorant racists will group to. As a result it is other people's discrimination that leak through into the BNP image. However i think the biggest problem with the BNP is Nick Griffith himself- his image is the ultimate weakness of the BNP.
