Bill Bill S.978 - What a Big Dick Move!

Sorry for the badly thought out title, but Buchichu's "Capcom Dick Move" Rant thread kinda inspired me in this case.Anyway, I just heard about this awful Bill whilst I was watching an LP (Let's Play) on Youtube & the way it sounds is absolutely dickish.The most absurd part of this Bill is that if passed, this Bill will make it so that Let's Play videos will be illegal 0_oYou can read more about it here:http://shoryuken.com/2011/06/29/trolling-the-stream-by-ultradavid/And a rantish video explanation can be viewed here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hytigOSjJxcI do agree with some of the people who commented on this Bill with regards to the "usefulness" of Let's Play videos in that by watching a Let's Play of a game whether be it of a new game or even an old game you can form a general idea of what you'd expect from said game & that idea of the game can ultimately lead you into buying it or not.And with game companies nowadays making more shovelware than good quality games, how else can one know if a particular game is good or bad without seeing a let's play? Call me a dick-gypsy, but I'd actually like to see this pass jut to watch the havoc that it causes. Also, the shitstorm might actually cause the various US copyright bodies to be destroyed by the sheer strength of mainstream hatred and media coverage blasted at them. First-class drama either way /sunglasses /popcorn

A let's play is only as amusing as the player is. Since they have to make up for you not actually playing

If this actually passed in its current form, it would only prove how braindead American officials really are.......as if we didn't already know.I honestly don't see this bill going very far, but then again......braindead officials.......

Yes.I don't like the commentators narrators of the videos; I mute them and see if the game has a characteristic I like.
