Best hero/heroine in a videogame?

Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes) that guy made me laugh so much, and its a pretty good game

yea travis was pretty cool i also like neku from the world ends with you

best hero... SORA! from KH series :D

Hero- a tie between Gordon Freeman and Kratos(even though kratos is a anti-hero)Heroine-....no clue.

Travis Touchdown is the most fun I have ever had with a protagonist. Ever.

Toushiro Hitsugaya

Kyle Hyde from Hotel Dusk, because no one knows him.
Also Lucas from Mother 3.

Dante from DMC 3 and 4. Hands down.Other mentions:
Lyn, Hector (Fire Emblem 7), Ranza (FFT), Pepe and StarFox (Star Fox, any of then).Plus some other already mentioned

Replying to #28

i enjoyed Dante more in DMC 3, in the other games he is to quiet and serious

How could it be anyone but Duke Nukem?
"It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum...and I'm all out of gum."

guybrush threepwood

Raziel from Soul Reaver, because he's not really a hero. And he can't die.

Zack Fair

Best hero, Dante from DMC, hands down. And Chuck Norris too(only because he would come for me if I didn't put him here)The rest all fight for 2nd place xD Zero and Neku and etc.......................Best heroine would be...Tear from Tales of the Abyss xDBest villian is of course who else but Vergil, the best video game character ever created :"You are not worthy as my opponent"

Travis Touchdown.Kick ass Otaku assassin :)

Mario, period
he's a plumber, a doctor, and he could do every kind of sport there is. plus he convinced sonic to play with him

Well...he's not really a hero but...Joshua from The World Ends With You

Jin Kazama from Tekken because he's probably the ONLY good guy there, aside from Lei Wulong.

heroine:lightning from ffxiii
hero:kite from .hack
