Are furries comparable to paedophiles?

Paedophiles have a fetish for young children.
Furries have a fetish for animals.Furries argue that animals can consent and enjoy sex with humans.
Paedophiles argue that 10 to 13 year olds can consent and enjoy sex with adults.Both paedophilia and bestiality are illegal.Some furries just look at furry 'hentai'.
Some paedophiles just look at 'lolicon'/'shotacon'.Some furries claim they don't want to have sex with animals and that they just really like/love them.
Some paedophiles claim they don't want to have sex with kids and that they just really like/love them.If you were a paedophile would you go around wearing kid stuff or dressing up as characters from young children tv shows whilst acting childish?Even if furries aren't just like paedophiles, should they really be exposing their fetish and 'lifestyle' to young people?

Furries digust me and their tendency to claim persecution makes me rage all the more. I really do believe the world would be much better off without those individuals.

I was under the impression furries wanted to have sex with anthropomorphic animals, not actual animals.

They want to do both. You'd be surprised. Who do you think watches all those horse and dog porn videos? Perfectly healthy individuals? Nope, just daring furries. A lot of furries are too scared to look at that stuff but some aren't. Not to mention a lot of them are in denial.Just like a lot of paedophiles look at lolicon and shotacon. Until about six months ago, I had no idea that being a "furry" was an inherently sexual thing; I just thought that it was just a hobby where people dress up as animals and go to parties and stuff @_+

From reading your post, you're saying that bestiality is also normal for a "furry"? Some quick research tells me not; the general Web consensus on the definition of a "furry" (for what that's worth to you) is that they are people that have a fetish for anthropomorphic animals.
Equating them with paedophiles is ridiculous IMO; so long as they are consenting adults in a fit mental-state to make decisions and they don't harm anyone or force them to do anything against their will, they have as much right to indulge in their fetishes as anyone else has in any other sexual act that follows the necessary rules (of consent etc).

What do you mean by "exposing" and "young people"? If you mean exposing their genitals to children; then no, of course they shouldn't. If you're taking about yourself, a young person who doesn't want to see "furry" things; stop looking. If you're old enough to take part in a debate on the Internet, you are old enough to take a degree of responsibility in the things that you expose yourself to online.EDIT

Well I would say that they are similar in that they are both weird, but they seem to have no other connection besides that....

Furries are much better than Pedophiles, imo.While being a furry might be a little daunting, people only see it as being a weird fetish, and being one doesn't equate into being an outcast or something similar.
