anyone read this about dx11

it sort of reminds me of what nintendo has said about graphics for the time being.

they said that about DX10 and so far the results have been less than impressive.

so gaming console in the future will have RPU instead of GPU?

doubt it, directx is PC only

if this is the way of the future for graphics, then it proves reason for hd.

DX11?
they must be kidding me.there's still a room to improve DX10 capabilities & performance.
and mostly the problems are coming from GPU boundaries.so why do they talking about DX11 at this time?
if not a bullshit, then it was stupid.

it said it was an april fools joke.the biggest limitation of dx10 is the fact that it runs in vista only and the drop in speed and frame rates does not make up for the small improvement in graphics.the question is with microsoft ditching vista for windows 7 are they going to still use dx10
