My 13 year old son wants DJ Hero. We already have Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Was wondering if this is worth the money. Good replay value? If he has a friend come over, will it keep them busy and entertained for a couple of hours?

it has done poorly. do you believe your child will have more fun pretending to be a dj or some rock group or guitarists? i believe the rock group or guitarists will have more fun then the dj.that's my advice. see what others will say.

It'll entertain you for a couple of hours. It's.. okay, it's no Guitar Hero or Rock Band. The game isn't too hard, you can't fail so nothing really feels like an accomplishment, there's several of the same mixes (so the songs are repetitive), and once you're done there's very little to no DLC.

Have you played the game?

if you want to buy one, you can get one at toys'r'us for $50 for a single table version and $90 if you want to get the one for the two player version.

Spoiler
you have to ask yourself why so cheap for dj hero as opposed to rock band or guitar hero?!

It didn't sell well, and it's one controller, not two and a microphone.

I just got the game and I'm loving it! I think the various levels make it to where anyone can enjoy it, but it can also be challenging for those up to the challenge. I really like the different songs available and I'm working on unlocking more playlists and songs. I haven't downloaded any of the new content, but I will when I tire of the songs already on it.
