Anyone into Chromakey and Video editing/filming

I trained in adobe premiere but about 2-3 years ago I abandoned it for sony vegas, and I've never regretted doing that.

different program for a different job, AE is for special effects only, it is not an editing program.

Ive done a bit before. Here is a video i did a while ago in gmod.

What version of sony vegas do you have? I'm using version 8 pro

8 pro, I bought it legally. Had 9, but sold it when I found it wouldnt work on my OS. Shame, since I wanted the native 64bit support.

on a scale of 1 through ten what would you rate the skill level for blood effects and explosion's?
I'm pretty good with sony vegas not an expert but i'm pretty good at it.

yes.

Loony is right. I thought it was gonna be all easy but its a whole different thing. You need to be pretty skilled to do blood. Maybe like a 6 or 7. Muzzle flashes and explosions are real easy though, probably like a 2 :P
