Anybody Know what game i'm talking about?

Hey, i remember playing this RPG for the psx when I was about 6 years old at my cousins house. All i remember about it is the movie that started right after you selected the "new game" option from the main menu. It showed the main character (a boy, possibly blue haired but dont hold me to it) and his master (father or grandfather?) on a large floating island in the sky. all of a sudden the island breaks in two and one of the pieces falls from the sky. the boy sees a small animal on the falling piece and rescues it before it falls. thats all i know about the movie. also i remember the battle system being close to that of wild arms 3

That game's name is The Granstream Saga
:)

thanks dude. now i can sleep at night haha
