Any good psx games?

I've started to play retrogames (again) and I just wanted to know what games are worth playing on the psx.

I really can't get into old school RPG's, only newer ones like Disgaea :I
I like all old school games, except ff's....

You know... PSX is not technically "old school" or "Retro" right?

RandomRedMage · #14PS2/PS3 Final Fantasy... good? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH....... wait your serious aren't you?

I enjoyed FFX, X2-, and 13, all 3 are pretty good games, umad.

X was too easy, an ok game but waaaay too easy. X2... was eyecandy and that was about it... sub par game. XIII.... nuff said.. it was BAD.XIV is ok... but they released it toooo early not enough in game content.XI was good, lots to explore and see, gets a little repetitive if all you do is grind to level up. [and most people do only that] but if you actually explore and do quests theres a lot to see. :)IX was great retouching on old school concepts, cute characters, fun consistent art style.VIII Was ok... I still think squall died end of disk one when edea hits him with that ice javalin... and the rest is a hallucination taking place in the time it takes for him to hit the ground. The new magic system was nifty... a pain in the ass but nifty.VII nuff said really its a good game, a lot of plot holes here and there that only fully get explained when you play the other games/watch the movies.VI was great, shame it was so poorly translated on the SNES.V was fun, shame we didn't get it till we had PSX.IV interesting game, haven't played it but my friend loved it. "Spoony Bard"III The remake for the DS was fun, gave the characters a little more background, but the original was good too, provided you find a translation patch for the rom.I and II both fun games, basic, but fun. FFI saved the company from going under. Nuff said.
