Any certain Micro SDHC card I should get?
J
I'm looking around Newegg.com for either a 4gb or 8gb micro SDHC card.Am I supposed to be looking for a certain kind or anything? I want something that works and is fast.

If you want speed at an affordable price I would have to recommend a class 4+ 4GB microSDHC. The brand really does not matter, however, something to keep in mind would be that more reputable brands such as Kingston or Sandisk will have actually storage closer to 4GB. Although, the difference is usually less than .1GB...only 102.4 MB of lost storage (just something to keep in mind)

The Japanese Kingston are usually faster and cheap.

I have a 7$ Kingston 1GB and it works fine :D. I only try out games till I beat them, then I delete them and get a new one, or use my other 1GB old card :D.

Kingston or Sandisk.

Sandisk hasn't failed me yet. MSD's feel delicate already, but the sandisks are sturdy and well built (Or spawned, idk)

my transcend works great!
i'd go for the larger one coz with a 4 gig you may run out of space, depending on what you are storing on it, i keep photos, music and games on mine

I use a Kingston 4GB MicroSD. It is over a year old and has not failed me yet (I use an EDGE). I'm not sure about this, but I keep hearing that a lot of the flashcarts can't handle MicroSD's that are larger than 4GB. Just something to keep in mind.

Also depending on console a 4gb does not work on the old NDS.

Seriously? I thought that only the flashcart you're using would be affected by that.
L
no, it is the flashcart that dictates if 4GB is supported or not, not the DS.
