adding cheats to the original r4

when ever i try to use a cheat and the start the game the screen is just black and nothing will happen
it works without the cheats though

The game you have selected the cheats for , select anuther game then go back to the your game , run it againJust a tip i found out...Are it might just be the cheat you are using

Yeah, once I had this cheat on Platinum which stopped me from playing any game as long as it was checked.

The R4 uses .dat files.

yes but in the datbase file (.dat) are cht files
