About Phantasy Star Zero

I have the latest version of the Golbin Wood FW and was just wondering, do I still the patch (the online fix on)? I mean, I have a patch PSZ bahamut with bahamut patch to go online but do the latest fw out there now fix that issue?

I'd patch it just to be safe? Could it hurt?

IIRC only clean roms with the Wood firmware.
