5th of October: World Teachers' Day!

I know we all live in different places that have different time zones. Still, as one of the people who lives in a place whose time zone is eight hours ahead let me just greet our most beloved teachers a Happy Day of world appreciation :)So suck up to your favorite teachers today & give at least a smile to the ones you don't really like that much :)

What's the difference between Teacher's day and WORLD Teacher's Day

Because teachers teach you the things you need to pass a test and World teachers teach you things about life that actually USEFUL.On-topic: My 5th grade teacher was the best I've ever had in a school, and my dad's a really good high school teacher too for math and Spanish and science, though he is a tad set in his old ways.

I thought it was yesterday, Oct 4... cause somebody greeted me with Happy teacher's day...my first thought was when i receive that text: Is it on January or February?

October 5 is the "Global" date, hence the addition of the word "World" in the heading:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Teachers%27_DayBut yeah, aside from the 5th of October there are other dates different countries designate as Teacher's Day too.

I almost became a teacher, im glad I didn't.
The only good thing is the amount of holidays.

I like World Teacher's day. School ended at 13.00 because of it :)
