I'll try to help you out Sky_Crusader, in the game Risk you start out with game pieces that occupy different territories. To take a territory you roll a dice and whoever rolled higher wins. The object is to win all the territories on the map.
its based on the risk board game. its a top down map driven RTS game in the style of a board game . no fancy graphics or anything but it can become addictive and is challenging in places. i remember playing this in 1999 and im so getting it for a laugh. best bet is to use Google images for pictures to see what it looks like ;)
