i've played this game when i was a kid. it's a great game then, but now i prefer something with more action. hehehe... i guess growing up changes opinions.
To Sidhiatma: Like venom8U said it was rare and unpopular, PSX had a couple thousand releases but like 300 received real advertising exposure and of those maybe 50-100 got REAL advertising (outside of a display in game stores) like TV commercials and whatnot, therefore the result was 1,001 undiscovered gems. I could think of plenty of games (not just PS1 either, many consoles, and many many games) that are just as good as, if not better than, most of the advertised releases!
This was a great game, another unknown title like this was Critical Depth, which is the same idea of vehicle combat but with submarines, and it is built on the same engine used to later make Twisted Metal! Definitely worth looking at!
Its like Twisted Metal in the water. Great game, and I think a really unknown game by most. I still own the original disc and haven't ever seen it again at stores.
