This is rather enjoyable, provided you don't get sick of every 5 minutes of the game telling you another rumour about this and that (sometimes I feel it's spamming it). However if you don't mind that, it's rather interesting if you want to learn more about these myths and rumours. Some highlights of the game are things like the Hitori Kakurenbou - which is the 'one person hide and seek', since you got to follow instructions in order to hopefully get a better ending. About gameplay factor: I played this concurrently with Nanashi no game and its sequel, and frankly speaking, I find myself playing this more than the other two, even though all 3 are good in its own aspect. Except that Nanashi series don't allow you to save midway unless you complete a whole chapter, which is frustrating if you happen to die along the way. T.S allows you to save, provided you aren't in the middle of a dialogue/cut scene/choice making/without your phone, so I liked that more. While nanashi is more 'first person roleplay/action adventure (since you got to do the running), T.S is a safer alternative as it operates more on a multiple choice scenario (choose your own adventure) kind of thing. Knowing that you won't meet a bad end due to lack of speedy reaction is one comforting thing to know. Plus, 6 save slots is rather good considering you'd probably want to check out the other endings in store for you. T.S offers some small mini games along the way, including controlling the train speed, keeping your finger on the ouija coin, blocking demon babies from bursting into the yonder, knocking doors along with spirits, these are generally pretty forgiving and give second chances, but try not to test its limits. The games may look like disjointed little segments, but they eventually tie up into a story of some sort. Not perfectly executed, but at least they tried. The actors they got for the game have generally pretty bad acting/photo skills, but it doesn't really upset the game experience itself. Japanese language used is colloquial, easy and with slang. Mails received come in katakana format, so even if you know how to pronounce, not understanding it properly may compromise decision making. Luckily for you, there's always a walkthrough to rely on. But still, self exploration is best.
lol you people think this is twilight xD
waiting for new moon game....
But does it have english. I'm curious but can't really understand Japanese.
>.> It's obviousuly not the English Twilight. If a game for Twilight will ever be released, it'll probably be based on the movie and look nothing like this.
Ummmm... Is it in English? Is it the real twilight with Edward Cullen? Coz... I like twilight... Thanks!
This game is a scary game...well...I think it's less frustrating with the Nanashi no Game...(just cause you can only walk and there's a creepy white thing following you...XD)....Twilight is actually pretty classic...it's been out in Japan for a while now on diff. sorts of platforms...anyone lov'in horror games should give it a try...after all, there are only a few horror games on the DS
