How do you fix the R4 problem? Even with the new firmware it is showing the thank you for playing? Any ideas?

The first day i had a error message but my friend died then maby that was the reason and the second time could be out of reach cause i played today and we played the second level(he needed help :p) but it worked fine. and if it happens again then i,l just get the new update for R4 ;) thank anyway
