RTF, RPG, WHATEVER THE LETTERS., if you don't want to worry about wasting points then just get a premium account mmkay? I think it's a pretty fun game.. I played Children of Mana and that was good too, just depends on your taste. I'm a HYOOOOOOOGE Zelda, Mario, FF, and Spyro fan. That might help......idk :)

Wikipedia says that the game was meant to be an RTS the same as Age of Empires, StarCraft and Warcraft: Orc vs Human. No one has editied this phrase within months.
More than that, in the game list of Nintendo USA website, it's classified as strategy. :P
And by the way, the leveling up feature was added to the RTS games a time ago specially for "hero" untits, as in WarCraft 3.

I don'c care what it is, it is still an awesome game! So can we please stop arguing over it being an RPG or RTS or whatever else you are calling it?
No, an RPG has several defining elements. The most common one is the ability to level up. Not played this game yet but if it's got the ability to level up then most people are going to say it has RPG elements. RPGs also tend to have more in depth stories but an in depth story isn't exclusive to an RPG.
But most importantly I think is that when you're talking/typing, you use the word 'an' before a word that has a vowel sound at the start such as 'Arr-Pee-Gee'. You do not, however, use the word 'a'.
Pplz its time for a lesson strategy games mean third person who controls units rts means you do it at real time meaning no turns the instant units move they keep moving and keep etting attacked the fact u can fight doesnt maek a game an rpg xliemx
