Pokemon Diamond USA

I have a bit of a problem with the ROM playing on my R4 (v.1.18). When I save and turn the game off, then go back to continue the game from where I left off, the screen goes black and does not load the game. I suppose the save file is corrupted, but I've deleted it and tried again and it still has the same effect. Any advice? Is there a utility or download I can use to fix this problem on my R4?

I have a problem that my emu can't load the sav file of this game, I used the idieas1020, it's good, I finished the game ninja gaiden and it was a great game too!

My opinion is that probably the only interesting thing to do after the game ends is to participate in the human-to-human metagame, or if you don't have friends, the Battle Tower(as with all 2nd Gen Pokemon classics ). Still, having new toys to play around with is always a plus for Pokemon fanatics, I suppose.
