one cool thing about this remake is the sevii islands after you beat the elite four you can not only finish finish the remaining 4 sevii islands and catch some johto region pokemon but do a number of side quests

after you beat the elite four if start again you can go to the rest of the sevvii islands (i think thats how you spell it) and can catch some of the johto region pokemon and finish the game for real
