This remake improves a lot over the original Metroid for the NES, it is much more playable and finally, there's a map! Not to mention the improved graphics, sound and the new area, Chozodia, where you play as Samus without her armor through stealth sections.
this is great game, and yup' the end's a good one i was a bit suprised it's a lot better presented that the original...but unfortunately not as challenging but seriously, the metroid games are astounding
A worthy entry in the Metroid series. I find it hard to back to the original NES version of because Zero Mission improves on the classic so much. This title is not only one of my favorite GBA games, but it's one of favorites, PERIOD.
very, VERY good game i would recommend it to any metroid fan.
awsome game
My first GBA game I ever bought. Never regretted it and have since completed the whole gallery. That 15% Hard run took forever to complete, though.
Reasons why you should try this game: 1: It is Metroid 2: It is Metroid 3: It is Metroid 4: It is Metroid 5: Are you smoking yet?
meta critic says: She's battled baddies on nearly every Nintendo system, cleaned house in the Super Smash Bros. series and recently blasted off for heroic adventures on the GCN (Metroid Prime) and the GBA (Metroid Fusion). Samus Aran now returns to her roots and relives the story that started it all -- revealing for the first time full details of her meeting with the Metroids. The plotline will be familiar to longtime fans of the Metroid series, but the challenges are new, the power-ups are plentiful (taken from several games in the series) and the graphics and sound are supercharged. Plus, if you thought that the original Metroid had a surprise ending, wait until you get past the Mother Brain in Metroid: Zero Mission. A new twist provides a deeper adventure than ever before.
